Our story

Started in Brazil. Shaped by Japan.

Thirty years of research into a single material — told the way it actually happened: as accumulation, not a pivot.

1992

A name that means union

"Goen" is a Japanese word for a link, a bond, two forces that meet and form a third. The company that would become Invel started as Goen3 — and that idea, of two things joining to make something new, is the whole company in a word.

1996

Green tea and infrared, in the same shipment

Goen3 began importing and distributing green tea and, alongside it, far infrared emitters from Japan. That shipment is the conceptual seed of everything that followed.

Late 1990s

Answering a hard question from scratch

The company set out to nationalize production in Brazil of textiles carrying an active bioceramic mineral. That meant answering, from zero, three technical questions with research partners and labs: which bioceramic, which method of incorporation, and which particle size actually worked.

February 1999

The Invel brand is born

The first product was the Dome Corporal — a body chamber used in aesthetics. Distribution began through a network of roughly 700 clinics across Brazil.

2008

A research institute of its own

Invel created the IITP — Instituto Invel de Tecnologia e Pesquisa — bringing researchers and health professionals together with Brazilian and international universities. A permanent research structure, not a one-off study.

February 2019

A global headquarters in Orlando

Invel North America moved its global headquarters to Lake Nona Medical City. The launch, at the GuideWell Innovation Center, drew more than 100 professionals from over five countries.

2023

Exporting from Japan, too

A new chapter: Invel began exporting not only from Brazil but also from Japan — a fusion, as the company describes it, of the MIG3 technology, Brazilian drive, and Japan's culture of longevity.

Today

Thirty years, one technology

More than three decades built around a single material, made in a factory certified for Good Manufacturing Practice by Brazil's national health authority.

Where we are

One technology, six countries.

From a GMP-certified factory in Brazil to offices and partners across the Americas, Europe and Asia, Invel products reach people in six markets. MIG3 is patented in 27 countries, including Japan.

Where it's made

A material story needs a factory.

Invel is vertically integrated: it owns the mineral, the way it goes into the fiber, and the finished garment. See how it's made.
